Annie Battaglia

Annie is from Chicago, IL and is a member of the Marquette OTD Class of 2026. She graduated summa cum laude from Carthage College in Kenosha, WI with a B.A. in Psychology. For her undergraduate thesis, Annie completed an internship at a local school serving students with a variety of neurodivergent conditions. During this internship, she organized and implemented a research project investigating the potential benefits of using self-monitoring as an intervention to improve spatial awareness in a child with an ASD diagnosis and ADHD symptoms. This project earned honors from the department of psychological science at Carthage. Annie also has experience working as a physical therapy technician in an outpatient physical therapy clinic. Annie was drawn to the field of occupational therapy because she wanted to pursue a career where she could guide people toward becoming the best version of themselves while thinking critically. In her free time Annie loves to exercise, read, be outside and spend time with friends and family.
