Rachel Scheele
Rachel is a graduate student in the Marquette University and Medical College of Wisconsin Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering. She graduated from Milwaukee School of Engineering with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering in 2024. Rachel is originally from Manhattan, KS. As an undergrad, she did research identifying breast cancer from MRI and evaluating ablation devices to kill cancerous cells more precisely. Her research interests lie more with disabilities, specifically cerebral palsy, and how to help people with disabilities live life to the fullest. She has first-hand experience with stroke, cerebral palsy, and amputation patients from interning at an orthotics and prosthetics clinic. In her free time, she enjoys walking, hiking and outdoor activities, as well as reading, crochet, cooking and baking, especially brownies.
