Raihan Mia

Raihan is from Dhaka, Bangladesh, and is in his second year of Marquette’s PhD program in Computer Science. He graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology in 2019. He is implementing in-home mHealth technology to study children’s motor skills and performance assessments. He worked in the eSystems Research and Development lab and conducted experimental studies on clinical research infrastructure and analytics. One of his research publications was recognized as highly impactful and got the Elsevier Smart Health Best Paper Award 2022. He has over three years of industry experience in designing, developing, and deploying large-scale health informatics and mHealth platforms. He is passionate about coding, problem-solving, data science, and machine learning.
